The Portal features a sharp angled speed scoop design that allows the head to lay flat for a much more controlled side approached ground ball. The angular profile lowers the entry point and creates a flatter, more direct path under the ball. The game is lightning fast, unpredictable and the loose balls aren't always textbook. Sometimes you need to pick one up backwards while shielding your man, while others require a full speed swipe from the side. The angular geometry of the scoop gives you confidence in traffic - like a featherweight vacuum.

FLARED BOTTOM RAIL
The bottom rail is wider than the face and features a string protection lip that tucks the sidewall strings in - making them invisible from the face on view. This greatly increases sidewall string longevity and the flared wall angle also pulls any ball into the center of the pocket on catches.
