LIVE MUSIC: Alley Cat Collective is our house band that will appear each week led by artist and Nightcrawler, Chaz Minivan. This ever evolving and morphing unit will surprise us each week with unique instrumentation, new players and improvised performances. This week will feature bassist Bronco Rank (Copper Vein Clones/American Primitive) and experimental electric guitarist John Billy Cuda.

COFFEE: J@M Coffee truck will be on site with their truck serving up
delicious coffee and refreshments all morning. Because some of us need
a little help becoming people before 10 AM.

DJ: Every game is 50 minutes of running time, and the clock is
basically DJ SSDM. His on-field set starts the game, and when the
music stops, so do you. Just 50 minutes of rhythmic lacrosse with a
live soundtrack.

FOOD + DRINKS: Local staple 64A Pub & Grille will be once again be on site serving
food and drinks for the whole family. Grab something before your game,
refuel afterward, or skip the lacrosse entirely and just come hungry. They will have sausage + hot dogs ripping again on the flat top. For the adults - they will introduce bloody mary's, alongside Stray Cat gold can main stay, Utica Club tall boys - the greatest beer ever made...in Utica.

This week, we also welcome Prime 67 Lobster Truck to the party! If you're feeling shellfish, treat yourself to some delicious Maine lobster in a variety of different ways - from classic lobster rolls to lobster quesadillas to lobster mac n' cheese & much more.

Come early. Bring the family. Grab a coffee. Stretch a little. Listen
to some music. Play some lacrosse. Eat something good. Hang around.

WHAT TO KNOW:

What are some changes for week 2?

  • We've created the "Catio" on the western edge of the Alley. Built, for players only, as a lounge, warm-up zone and safe place to drop your gear for the day. You will see signage and team gear drop zones upon entry.
  • We've opened up the Alley, so you're encouraged to bring picnic blankets or folding chairs. If you have a pop up tent please use the sideline section beyond the DJ booth so we don't block the view of the game for the spectators.
  • We are moving the older kids zones into the tennis court area. There will be spare sticks, tennis balls, goals and other activities available.
  • We've sprayed the "Danger Bee's!" nest again so hopefully that chills them out.
  • We have the scoreboard in working order so we will be able to keep time on the clock and stay on schedule better.

What do we do in the rain?

We do what any stray cat would do...we just keep playing. There will be some pop up tents that you can put your gear under. What about if there is lightning? Well. then we run for shelter because we're holding metal poles on an open field!
